We believe there to be so many reasons to shop local instead of using the big multinationals! It's almost difficult to choose the main benefits, but here are a few of our favourites:

Where ever possible we source our produce from local farms and suppliers, which reduces the environmental impact of transportation due to the process of getting produce from the farm to you, the customer. We have also recieved a gold awards from Nottingham University for recycling our carboard.

By shopping locally the money that you spend is more likely to stay in the community, whether that be through wages paid to our workers or rates paid to the local council. The local economy is also stimulated in this way, as we use local farms, suppliers, and other independents in the day to day running of our shop.

As well as the economical benefits, we feel that shopping with small independents is a great way to stay in touch with the local community.
